Enjoy the weekend! Don't get to bumped with an hour less sleep... Just enjoy spring!

Grrrr.. no table anymore! And I had it all planned out for the day. So that went completly different and I just didn't have my day today. And what's better then putting negative energy in cleaning the house, do some administration and add vintage to the shop? Maybe tomorrow some new crocheted work. Enjoy your evening!
After eight years being and living as a student in Amsterdam, I moved here, to Leiden, to a normal grown-up house! Because I did house exchange, I knew quit a while but we had to wait for all the paperwork. While waiting, I worked hard to make myself a new interior. All my stuff here is bought in a thriftstore or throught Internet and everything is refurbished by me. I'm really happy with how everything worked out! And I'm still very happy in my home.

I needed to finish a order for a laptop bag and I wanted to make a keychain for my aunt. As a small gift because she helped me. So I made a keychain but that's already in a bag, ready for the mailbox. (forgot the picture..) Made the bag and had energy left for another keychain. Except the chain itself and the felt balls, it's completly handmade with recycled, and natural materials. All wood chains are from old bracelets and necklaces, the circles are leftovers, 100% blankets with bright sewed lines and I added old brown, leather and wooden buttons and a stripe old lace work. It doesn't show so well on the picture.. It's pretty big and 3-dimensional but I'll show you this week. When the day is over, it's over! (..which also means bad lightning for pictures, in which reminds me how glad I am days are getting longer already and you can hear more birds are back in town!, but I'm happy, when in two weeks summertime is starting and light is longer with us!) Gonna make some caffee latte and catch a couch! Bye.
Thanks for all the tips on my new-secondhand-never worn-too big-favorite jeans! But I'm not going to make a skirt out of it, or something else but give it to Patricia. I think that's a better idea and it's nice to make someone happy with 'new' jeans.
Meanwhile it's a busy week here. Seen a lot of friends, busy with work and enjoyed a short stay with my sister and brother-in-law but mostly with little Olivia. So not much time to be creative but I did finish up a new PURE babyblanket, early this week. I'm still working on a two person blanket but tjeezz, that is so heavy at the end. It's not possible to keep on working/sewing with so much weight. So I'm working in (time) parts and hope to finish that one next week.
My ideas to combine felt, beads, blankets and crochet are getting more and more shape. I'm soooo excited about that. Hope to have the time to work on that really soon!!! Can't wait...
Be back in the weekend, (hope with some thriftstore catches which I'm heading to this afternoon) but for now already, have a nice weekend!
I found my perfect jeans on a flea market in Amsterdam, yesterday. It's perfect! It's a Lee jeans, has blue and white thin stripes, it's 'nice' used, has straight legs and it has old fashion braces, set with buttons. Love, love, love that!! It's perfect. A 'manly' working jeans. Cool with a t-shirt on it, as well as a blouse or a long vest, with boots or sneakers.
But here it is.. and I knew that, but had to buy it anyway. It's too big. It's a size 32 and I'm way, way more tiny. But I loved it so much and just hoped that if I would wash it very hot it would shrink, four, five sizes.. Yeah I know, I dream high hopes! So that didn't work and I see no options to remake it anywhere, or how to make me fit it.
So if you love this jeans, like I do... And you really, really have to love it because it's my favorite one-day-old, secondhand, never worn by me - jeans! Then mail me (it's about 88 cm around the waist and 112 cm long), convince me and I'll resell my perfect jeans to you.

My 'buuf' (my neighbor) has a new mini-laptop and asked me if I could make a laptop bag for it. A soft bag which you can use to carry the laptop but also has the function of protection. So I made one for her but I went crazy on the idea so I experimented with another laptop bag.
